On Feb. 8th, the Seattle Seahawks will face the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LX. The game, a rematch of the 2015 contest, will take place at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif. If you’re from out of town or opting out of a party, but still want to watch with a group, consider these places. For those that aren’t ticketed, reservations are strongly encouraged.

Both teams have bars where their fans can congregate. Seahawks fans meet weekly at Brownstone Tavern & Grill in Lakeview. Their gameday promotions consist of $4 Fireball shots, $5 Seattle cider, and 20 oz. drafts of Miller or Coors for $5. Those rooting for the Pats have a couple of options. Lincoln Park’s Tripoli Tap bills itself as a “neighborhood friendly dive bah” for transplanted New Englanders, with Sam Adams on draft and clam chowder on the menu. In River North, Theory is the home of Chicago Patriots Nation.

At Wrigley Field, the Budweiser Brickhouse Tavern is hosting a Big Game Tailgate Party. A $30 ticket gets you a pizza buffet, mini sliders, and a hotdog station. Drink specials feature buckets of Bud Light, Michelob Ultra, and Nutrl seltzer, Flecha Azul Blanco, Fireball, and lemon drop shots.

If you need a dessert for your party, visit Sweet Mandy B’s in Lincoln Park or Streeterville. Throughout the weekend, they’ll have football-themed cupcakes, cookies, and Rice Krispies treats for sale. And you can also get a cake decorated like a football with three-to-five days’ notice.

Head to the West Loop, where Punch Bowl Social’s party has $30 buckets and, with the purchase of a sandwich or burger, $5 drafts. They’ll also have raffles throughout the night, plus darts, cornhole, and board games in case the football game turns into a blowout.

Bub City, a barbecue-and-country-music restaurant with locations in River North and Rosemont, is throwing a Big Game Brunch. Stop in either spot from 11AM – 2PM (Rosemont) or 11AM – 3PM (River North) while wearing a football jersey to get a gift card equal to your tab.

Another place to pre-game is Lakeview’s Cody’s Public House. The dog-friendly corner bar has their 5th Annual Puppy Bowl Viewing Party from noon – 4PM. Proceeds from its Puptail Menu, prizes, and raffles benefit Chicago Canine Rescue, and they’ll have free Chicago hotdogs. During the Super Bowl, enjoy free popcorn and a halftime buffet, plus numerous drink specials.

In Wicker Park, Ina Mae Tavern & Package Goods has $24 buckets as well as $25 pizza and $49 for a platter of a dozen full wings and a dozen tenders from 3 until 10:30OM.

For those who are mostly interested in the halftime show, Bar Sol at Navy Pier is holding a Bad Bunny Watch Party. During the game, they’ll have Latino dance music from three DJs, and will switch to the feed when the time comes. A ticket comes with unlimited pizza, wings, and appetizers up until halftime.

For $60, Bridgeport’s Dolce Arte has a full bar and an endless buffet that includes sliders, chili, Calabrian pepper wings, and pasta salad.

The Weather Mark Tavern, a nautical-themed bar in the South Loop, has buckets of domestics ($25) and seltzers ($30), and a food menu of nachos, meatball sliders, Asian ribs, or chili dog or brat with fries for $12. Enter the raffle for a chance to win a White Claw golf bag, plus giveaways and squares.

Parlay at Joy District, another sports bar in River North, has a couple of ticket options. A general admission ($10) comes with one complimentary drink, and the open bar ($50) provides all-you-can-drink until 8:30PM. Tables for four, six, and eight people, with the open bar, can also be reserved. The event will be hosted by a “guest sports influencer,” and there will be giveaways at halftime.

The Super Bowl Spectacular at Northalsted’s newly renovated Kit Kat Club includes a two-course prix fixe dinner (salad with a choice of smash burger, fried chicken, or butternut squash ravioli) and two of its signature martinis. Stick around after the game for a DJ set.

In Lincoln Square, The Getaway has $5 bottles of select beer, cider, and seltzer, and shot-and-beer combos for $9. They will also have free pizza while supplies last.

On Super Bowl Sunday, the author traditionally throws what he calls a Pork-A-Palooza, where he puts a pork shoulder in the slow cooker and invents a cocktail for the occasion. Every few years or so, he invites some people over.
