Added Dynamic Adventures

Dynamic Adventures have been added to the eATLAS app allowing Whoa!Guides to create adventures on-the-fly using the ‘Build Adventures’ feature on the eATLAS App. The ‘Build Adventures’ feature allows Whoa!Guides to shoot their own videos, take their own pictures, and record audio clips to use as media items for their Adventures all through the eATLAS app, all in real-time!

While the ‘Build Adventures’ feature does allow Whoa!Guides to create/edit their own Adventures and media items, they will have to publish the Adventures on the already existing eATLAS Whoa!Guide portal. 

Making Dynamic Adventures

Navigating to Dynamic Adventures 

1. Open your eATLAS app as a Whoa!Guide; the Adventures tab will display.
2. Tap the ‘Build Adventures’ button in the bottom right of the Adventures tab.

Basic Information Screen

3. Enter an Adventure Title for your Adventure.
4. Enter a Description for your Adventure.
5. Tap ‘Location of this adventure’ and use the map tool to choose a location for your Adventure.
6. Tap ‘Add Media’ to add media items for your Adventure.
7. Tap ‘SAVE AND CONTINUE’ at the bottom of your screen when you have finished with the basic info and are ready to create stops for your Adventure.

Creating Stops

8. Tap the ‘+’ button at the bottom of your screen to add a stop.
9. Select a Stop type.
10. Enter a title for the Stop.
11. Enter a description for the Stop.
12. Tap ‘Location of this Stop’ to use the built-in map feature to choose a location for the Stop.
13. Tap the ‘Add Media’ button to add media items for the Stop.
14. Tap ‘SAVE AND CONTINUE’ when you are finished creating the Stop.
15. Repeat Steps 8-14 until you have your desired number of Stops.
16. Tap ‘FINISH ADVENTURE’ at the bottom of your screen when you are satisfied with your Adventure. 

Creating Media Items

You can now create media items on-the-fly using the ‘Build Adventures’ feature. Start creating media items by tapping the ‘Add Media’ button while building a stop or in the basic info screen of the ‘Build Adventures’ feature. You can create an audio recording, photo, or video, or you can upload your own.

The Basic Information screen allows you to create/upload an image or video. While building a stop you can create/upload an audio recording, an image, or a video. 

To create a new media item:

1. Tap ‘Record Audio’ to create an audio file as your media item.
2. Tap ‘Take Photo’ to create an image as your media item.
3. Tap ‘Record Video’ to create your own video as your media item.

 If you want to upload your own media items:

1. Tap ‘Choose audio file’ if you want to use an existing audio recording as your media item.
2. Tap ‘Choose from gallery’ to upload an existing image or video as your media item.
